02 / IN YOUR DAILY PRACTICE
Keep the consultation centred on what your client wants to understand.
Record the question and the details needed for the chosen method.
Choose Horary or Jamakkol, then examine the chart using your own approach.
Request an analysis when helpful, check its reasoning, and shape the consultation with your expertise.
03 / IN DEPTH
Prashna, or horary astrology, answers a specific question from a chart cast for the moment it is asked, rather than from the birth chart. It is especially useful when birth details are missing or uncertain.
In Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) Horary, the querent gives a number, traditionally between 1 and 249, which fixes the ascendant. The astrologer then judges the question through the cuspal sub-lords and their significators. JyotishGrid supports KP Horary with multiple seed selection, so you can work with the number system you use.
Jamakkol is a Tamil system of question astrology drawn in the South Indian chart format. Alongside the planets it uses special reference points: Udayam (the rising point), Arudam, Kavippu and the Jama grahas. JyotishGrid gives Jamakkol its own chart rather than forcing it into a horary template. Read more in the Jamakkol guide.
JyotishG AI can draft an interpretation from the question and the chart. It is a second perspective, not a verdict: you review its reasoning and decide what to say in the consultation. New AI analyses are part of Pro.
